John has been in integral part of ECSI since 1989 serving in various roles throughout the company. In January 2000, John took the helm as Owner, President & CEO. Under his leadership, the company has significantly grown its client base, expanded its product lines, doubled in size and become nationally recognized for its outstanding customer service and technology. John has played a key role in making ECSI the company it is today, defining its “Service Never Rests” culture, and promoting ECSI’s role as the leading partner for the education industry. John holds a PharmD. professional degree and Bachelor of Science degree from Duquesne University. Close

Dan Frazier - Chief Operating Officer
Dan Frazier, Chief Operating Officer
Dan, ECSI’s Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of ECSI’s business operations, product development, technology, and client services teams. Dan brings over 18 years of business operations and technology development experience within financial, technology and service industries to ECSI. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Execution for a Forbes 500 mortgage services company where he led, created and developed teams across the Technology, Finance, HR and Operations department. Dan has also held leadership positions at PNC Bank, Bank of New York Mellon and Idea Integration. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Duquesne University Close

Nick Battaglia - Chief Financial Officer
Nick Battaglia, Chief Financial Officer
Nick, ECSI’s Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for all of the financial and treasury areas of ECSI’s business and manages the banking, insurance, audit/tax and legal relationships. He brings over 22 years of experience to ECSI of which the past 11 years he served in CFO roles for financial services and manufacturing companies. Nick has significant experience in assisting growth related businesses in areas such as access to capital and building/strengthening of infrastructure and control systems to manage growth. Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris University. Close

Tracy, ECSI’s Executive Vice President of Sales, is responsible for managing the sales strategy, establishing new client relationships, expanding the current client base, and penetrating into new clients. He manages the entire ECSI sales team that is comprised of regional and product sales specialists. Tracy has been a key player on the ECSI for over 9 years. Prior to ECSI, he held leadership roles in the consulting and marketing field. Tracy holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Close

Karri Philipp-Thomas, Director of Human Resources
Karri, ECSI’s Director of Human Resources, is responsible for all aspects of the human resource department including employee relations, recruiting, payroll, and benefit administration. She works strategically with the executive management and leadership team to establish best practices and build a solid foundation for human capital management. Karri has 20 years of comprehensive human resources management with multiple industries including finance, mortgage and loan servicing. Karri is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources. Close
